*Boston College looks to end Miami hex*

Miami (5-6) at No.15 Boston College (9-2) 12:00 pm EST

CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- While Boston College has a spot in the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game safely tucked away, it sill has some business to take care of - beating Miami.

The 15th-ranked Eagles (9-2, 5-2 ACC Atlantic) look to snap a 15-game losing streak in the series on Saturday, when they host the Hurricanes in their regular-season finale.

Last season, Miami (5-6, 2-5 ACC Coastal) knocked Boston College out of the ACC race with a 17-14 victory in the Orange Bowl.

The Eagles have not beaten the Hurricanes since 1984, when Doug Flutie's "Hail Mary" pass to Gerard Phelan as time expired lifted Boston College to a 47-45 victory.

It wasn't quite as memorable as Flutie's pass to Phelan, but the Eagles clinched a spot in their first ACC title game in dramatic fashion last week.

Boston College snapped a two-game losing streak as Matt Ryan tossed a 43-yard touchdown pass to Rich Gunnell with 1:47 remaining as the Eagles rallied for a 20-17 victory over Clemson.

It marked the second time this season Ryan rallied the Eagles to a victory in the final minutes. On October 25, he engineered two late scoring drives as Boston College erased a 10-point deficit in the last two minutes to defeat Virginia Tech, 14-10.

Miami will need a dramatic reversal of form to beat the Eagles again.

The Hurricanes have dropped three in a row, including last week's 44-14 loss at Virginia Tech, and are looking at their first losing season since 1997.
