*Angels still looking for 100th win*

Texas (79-82) at LA Angels (99-62), 3:35 p.m. EDT

ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have failed in their first two tries at setting a franchise record.

Anaheim hopes the third time is the charm when it goes for its 100th win of the season against the Texas Rangers on Sunday.

The Angels, who have clinched the best record in the American League, have never won 100 games. Anaheim has been blown out in both chances against Texas, which has scored 20 runs over the first two games.

Joe Saunders (16-7, 3.52 ERA) will try to turn things around. The lefthander threw seven scoreless innings in his last outing, allowing six hits in a victory over Oakland on September 18.

The Rangers will counter with veteran Kevin Millwood (9-9, 5.03).

Millwood is winless in his last four starts, but pitched well last Monday, allowing two runs in seven innings against Oakland.

Already guaranteed to finish in second place, Texas will have its highest finish in the division since it won the American League West in 1999.
